Here at Bob King Buick GMC, we’re always prepared for a wide range of service options. From oil changes to the more intensive mileage-marker service tiers, we’ve got your covered. However, don’t forget to ask about Bob King wheels and tires.

Here’s an overview of our main types of wheel and tire services you should know about.

Wheel Alignment

If you find your car pulling to either side as you drive, or if there’s some kind of steering issue, your wheels could need to be aligned. They come properly aligned from the factory, but they don’t stay that way.

Misalignment can cause uneven wear on your tires while severely limiting their life span. If the tires have too much uneven wear, you’ll have to buy a whole new set, which can be expensive.

If your wheels are out of alignment, your steering wheel will vibrate and your tires will pull you in different directions.

Tire Pressure

Your tires’ air pressure can be easy to overlook, since you generally won’t think about it unless you see an obvious flat tire. Still, as the weather changes and temperatures fluctuate, so too will the air in your tires.

You’ll want to regularly check your tire pressure against the optimal psi listed on inside of your tire, which will vary according to brand. With poor tire pressure, you can experience traction issues, which can lead to unsafe driving conditions.

Rotation

Since your tires ideally receive uniform wear, it’s very important that they get rotated every 7,500 miles. You don’t want to risk debilitating your tires’ lifespan or increase the risk of sudden failure.

If you have any questions or think you’re overdue for any kind of tire service, schedule a service visit at Bob King Buick GMC right away!
