    • COSTLY REPAIRS!

I own C300 coupe.Bought it used with 19000 miles on it in 2019.After 40000 miles drivers seat ripped open at the seam and Mercedes wanted $1100 to repair it.Found another upholstery shop for $550. Car comes without a spare tire and uses run-flat tires that only lasted 20000 miles but was told they should last 50000.Disappointing ! Directly above the windshield and before the roof is a black strip that is discoloring from black to grey. Mercedes said it can only be fixed by replacing the WHOLE roof.I didn't even ask what that would cost.
    • Baby AMG is a Great AMG

I took the AMG Driving School program that was provided free following the purchase of the car. Drove all the AMG versions on the track in Lime Rock Connecticut and the 43 was probably the best of all the sedans or coupes. We’ll balanced, plenty of power, 4-matic magic, and nice sounding exhaust. I run 19 inch summer performance run flats that, while providing plentiful grip, make a whole lot of noise and less cushion. The AMG version is a bit rougher ride but you’re buying a performance car, not your Daddy’s car, right? This AMG is a real “sleeper “.

For an all purpose, luxury ride/sports sedan, you cannot go wrong with theC43. While lacking two cylinders from Big Brother 63, the 43 makes up with All Wheel Drive. Back country roads are a blast to drive, cornering like you are on rails. Straight line speed is around 4 seconds 0-60, much more than enough to match most muscle cars you might encounter. The 43 is a total “sleeper”, until you mash the accelerator. Drove both the 43 and 63 at Lime Rock race course and could barely tell the difference between them. Loved the musclof the 63, but the overall performance and price of the 43 swayed the purchase decision. On my fifth year of ownership and still enjoying the ride.
